10.3 Industrial / Hardware Health

Problem. After failures, the argument is always timeline and threshold: “we thought it was fine” vs “you should have shut it down.”

Problem. Reactive systems flip from stable to runaway within razor margins; tribal tolerances are not defensible.

Outcome. Containment rules are provably followed, cross-site comparisons remain honest, and local differences live in the manifest, not in excuses.

10.5 Why proving these four is enough

The quartet. Finance (money posture), AI (routing governance), industrial (machine safety), chemistry (containment risk) — four distinct stress classes accept one unchanged record shape.

What this proves.

  • General, not niche. One contract works across cash flow, model outputs, bearings, and reactors.
  • Separation of concerns. value (truth), align (stability/risk dial), band (action stance), manifest_id (policy anchor), stamp (time+order proof) — each does one job.
  • Policy portability. Domains differ in thresholds and gates, but the pillars don’t change; only the manifest changes.
