5.6 — Readiness checklist (must-pass before promotion)
Numerics. a := clamp(a, -1+eps_a, +1-eps_a) everywhere; M2 identities pass; U/W associativity passes; collapse parity phi((m,a)) = m verified.
Observability. Dashboards show value m and band side by side; operators trained on what bands mean.
Data path. Alignment a carried intact across ingestion, storage, and reporting; no silent clobbering or rounding.
Audit. Manifests stored; stamps verifiable offline; checksums match the declared build.
Safety. No actuator references a outside approved advisory hooks; rollback switch documented.

5.7 — Safety gates (promotion ladder)
Gate G0 (read-only). All tests pass; bands visible; no actuator changes.
Gate G1 (advisory). Non-critical schedulers reference bands; rollback switch wired and tested.
Gate G2 (closed loop, scoped). Safety case approved; thresholds and revert plan documented; monitoring tightened.

Safety case skeleton (copy and fill)
Policy: gain_shaper on loop “oven1”
Hook: k_eff := k_nom * f_band(a)
Scope: ovens in cell A only
Revert: DISABLE gain_shaper (config key: oven1.gain_shaper=false)
Monitors: band histogram, overshoot %, oscillation_area
Stop conditions: A-/A-- share > 30% for 10 min, or overshoot % > 5%
