4.15 — Buildings & HVAC (comfort and kWh)

  • Scenario. Sensor order/rate changes cause comfort overshoots and wasted energy.
  • Inputs. Temperature, occupancy, CO2 with alignments; control setpoints unchanged.
  • Behavior. Order-invariant fusion stabilizes control; bands gate non-critical aggressiveness (e.g., damper slew, PID gains).
  • Week-1 pilot. Publish lanes on key loops; add advisory dampers keyed to bands; no actuator hard limits altered.
  • KPIs & acceptance. Lower kWh with equal comfort scores.
  • Calculator-fast cue. Example fuse of occupancy and CO2:
