Shunyaya Symbolic Mathematical Hardware – Examples, Stamps, Guardrails & Talking Points (6.6–6.10)

6.6 — Quick examples (sanity checks you can brief)
Data center perf/watt. If baseline_kWh = 200e6, price_per_kWh = 0.10, and confidence-banded DVFS trims pct_reduction = 0.03, then savings = 200e6 * 0.03 * 0.10 = 600,000/year. Combine with fewer throttles (ops-time lever) to exceed $1M.
EV fleet. City fleet 8,000 EVs; calmer SoC, HVAC, routing save $625/vehicle/year$5,000,000/year.
Telecom NOC. Avoid 62,500 false tickets at $80 each ⇒ $5,000,000/year.
Manufacturing line. 400,000 units/year; reduce scrap by $12.50 per unit ⇒ $5,000,000/year.

6.7 — Pairing with SSM-Clock Stamp (additive savings)
Stamp-only savings. Replace costly TSA/PKI-like flows in non-critical stamping: stamps_per_year * avoided_cost_per_stamp = annual_savings_$.
Examples: 5,000,000 * 1 = 5,000,000, 25,000,000 * 0.20 = 5,000,000, 100,000,000 * 0.05 = 5,000,000.
Stacked gains. Keep stamping economics separate and additive to lane-driven savings (energy, fuel, tickets, scrap).
Offline trust. Stamped (m,a) logs make ROI audits straightforward and portable.

6.8 — Setting and defending x% savings
Define x. x := net_annual_savings_$ / addressable_cost_base_$.
Examples of cost bases: total_energy_spend, fuel_spend, scrap_spend, ops_budget.
Defend x with deltas. Show pre/post A/B on waste, false_alarms, oscillations, energy_per_task, tickets, hours.
Keep it conservative. Count only benefits tied to logs; exclude speculative model changes or unrelated projects.
Optional elasticity sketch (turn band time into deltas).
pct_reduction_energy := alpha*(share_A- + share_A--) + beta*share_A0
Choose alpha,beta per domain; keep them conservative and document in manifest notes.

6.9 — Guardrails (finance)
No double-counting. If a flow still requires TSA/PKI for compliance, do not book full stamp savings.
Immutable manifests. Compare only runs with identical knobs; otherwise treat as separate experiments.
Scope clarity. Label pilots observation-only; state which schedulers (if any) were advisory-gated by bands.

6.10 — Executive talking points (for board and partners)
One small lane, many levers. Same semantics reduce energy, fuel, scrap, false alarms, ops toil.
Deploy now, accelerate later. Software gains today; unchanged semantics compile to hardware when scale/latency demand it.
Auditable by design. Plain-text manifests, stamped outputs, fixed knobs, calculator-checkable identities.
Predictable payback. Threshold math shows how modest deltas clear $5M/year per site or fleet with simple pairings.

Caution. Research/observation only. Not for operational or safety-critical use.
