1.8 — Deterministic knobs (freeze for reproducibility)

  • Numerical. eps_a, eps_w, denom_soft_min, gamma.
  • Policy. division_policy, gate_enable, gate gain g_t.
  • Bands (global defaults — normative).
    thresholds = [-1.00, -0.90, -0.60, 0.60, 0.90, +1.00] mapping to A-- / A- / A0 / A+ / A++. Overrides must be declared explicitly.
  • Practice. Record all knobs with every run; identical knobs ⇒ identical replays.

1.9 — Minimal conformance (calculator-fast)

  • Clamp safety. Edge a values produce finite atanh(a) after clamping.
  • M2 identities. a_mul and a_div match the closed forms to float64 precision:
    a_mul = (a1 + a2) / (1 + a1*a2) ; a_div = (a_f - a_g) / (1 - a_f*a_g).
  • U/W associativity. Batch, stream, and shuffled inputs give identical a_out.
  • Collapse parity. After any port, phi((m,a)) equals the classical result for m.
